Route Description : A scenic run passing 5 reservoirs in under 5 miles. There is a 5-10 minute walk back to the Cricket Club. There is a 5 minute walk to the start.įinish : The finish will be on a path just above the Hades Farm track above Old Mount Road. Start : We start the race at the west end of the Butterley Reservoir dam. There will be food and cakes to buy and the Cricket Club bar will be open. We will also present some special prizes for anyone involved in the Scouts.Īll surplus funds will go towards the Marsden Scout group. Prizes : We have a prize list for men, women, vets & teams. Retirements : If you retire, you must report to the finish. In accordance with the tighter FRA rules, you will not be allowed to run if you don’t have the necessary kit and given a refund. We will do a full kit check and competitor count at the start. You will have a race number which needs to be clearly displayed to marshals on the course who record everyone’s number, ensuring no one is unaccounted for. The organiser will determine on the day what kit needs to be carried.
